Dear Valued Partner


Following the latest reports from the meteorological services about cyclone Berguitta, Air Mauritius wishes to inform you that as the current conditions are considered unsuitable for safe operations all flights to and from Mauritius AND Rodrigues have been suspended until further noticed due to prevailing cyclonic conditions.

Please note:

* MK46 will operate tonight 16 January departing Mauritius at 1900 and arriving London Heathrow on 17 January at 07h30 (local).
* MK57/17January is delayed until further noticed.


Air Mauritius has issued the following guidelines applicable to all ticketed passengers who are currently booked and ticketed on anMK operated flight from 16thJanuary 2018 to 19th January 2018.


1. UNTIL 22 JANUARY 2018: Ticketed passengers will be rebooked on the next available MK flights at no additional cost.
Such re-accommodation will betreated as involuntary.


1. Please note, these flights will either be reprogrammed and/or alternatively on flights made available to re-accommodate passengers until 22nd January 2018.
2. Re-booking and re-routing on other airlines is permitted subject to seat availabilityproviding in same cabin of transport.
Please use following waiver code when re-issuing ticketsINVOL REROUTE DUE TO BERGUITTA LONTOMK941. This authority must be added to the endorsement box of the reissued ticket.

1. For re-booking and re-routing on other airlines in different cabin of transport please collect applicable fare and tax difference.



1. AFTER 22 JANUARY 2018: Ticketed passengers may wish to be rebooked on alternate future MK flights.
Such re-accommodation will betreated as voluntary.


1. All changes will be allowed in same class of transport without penalty (even if the fare rule for the particular fare concerned specifies “No Change” or “Change with Penalty”).
Please use following waiver codePENALTY WAIVED DUE TO BERGUITTA LONTOMK942. This authority must be added to the endorsement box of the reissued ticket.
2. If higher RBD’s being booked, higher seasonality or different applicable fare due to different routing / destination etc higher, passengers need to be charged for any additional amount.
3. Provided such changes are effected prior to 31 January 2018.

Ticketed passengers whose travel dates coincide with the cyclonic weather prevailing in Mauritius (up to 19 January 2018) and who wish to cancel their trip will be provided with full refund, even if the fare rule on fare purchased specified “no refund”, or if a penalty was applicable. Such tickets must be refunded no later than 31 January 2018.
Please use following waiver codeREFUND DUE TO BERGUITTA LONTOMK940. This authority must be added to the endorsement box of the reissued ticket.
