We’re lifting peak restrictions on Friday afternoons this summer


* There will be NO afternoon restrictions out of Euston on Friday afternoons between 20 July and 31 August.
* This is as a result of listening to the feedback about overcrowding on the first few off-peak services out of Euston on Fridays and anticipating additional leisure demand over the summer holidays.
* Additionally, there are full Euston closures for 3 weekends over this period (18/19, 25/26/27 August and 1/2 September). The lifting of restrictions on Friday evening will help customers still planning to travel on these weekends complete their journeys earlier, with less overcrowding.

What we’re telling our customers


* Reservations will open for Friday 20 July as of 9 May.
* A message will be implemented in the booking engine for those checking fares for Friday PM departures from Euston, reassuring that these fares are correct and highlighting the great value now on offer.
* The website will be updated across pages that explain peak/off-peak restrictions
